St. Mary's Pink Ribbon Fund
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death for women in the United States with over 200,000 women in the U.S. diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
The Pink Ribbon Fund was established to assure that all women, regardless if they have health insurance or not, will have access to mammography services. Early detection of breast cancer with screening mammography means that treatment can be started earlier in the course of the disease with the potential of saving lives.
