Before you decide that you’d have difficulty walking…or even running…a 5k, give us a moment to change your mind. We’d like to help you change that perception by creating regular events in the community when we can get together to train to gradually build up our endurance and ability to participate in…and complete…the PATH to the Cure’s 5k walk/run.
Couch-to-5K Running Plan
We found a great program called the Couch-to-5K Running Plan that is designed to "…help any couch potato run a 5K (3 miles) with as little as 20 to 30 minutes of walking and jogging just three times a week" in just a few months. You can start on your own now or send us your email address and we’ll put you on the list to let you know when we launch our next training event. You don’t have to train, walk or run alone. Come and do it with us!
